Starting a notebook
For years my projects lived in scattered places: ~/code project spaces, commit messages, email threads, forum ports, and my own unreliable memory. This is my attempt to gather the good parts in one spot.
It’s a notebook, not a magazine article. I’m not here to lecture, and I’m not going to pretend the path was straight when it almost never is. When something works I’ll say how. When something bit me — I’ll say that too, because that’s usually the part that would have saves you the afternoon.
A few things I want to keep true here:
- Short. A post should be readable while the soldering iron warms up.
- Concrete. Real numbers, real parts, real mistakes.
- Kind. The blogs I learned the most from were generous with the reader. I’d like to pay that forward.
Most of what I build is radios and the ‘stuff’ that surrounds it Some of it is finished. Most of it isn’t. Some of this may be useful to you. That’s the fun part.
So, welcome. Pull up a stool, and let’s make some things work.
